The Camp

We have altogether six fixed luxury tents along the terrace overlooking Begnas Lake.  All our tents are fully facilitated and decorated in a “super comfort” theme with indoor bathroom, shower and balcony that offers fantastic view of the lake. Each of them has wooden parquetted floor and spacious twin bedroom and artistic bamboo décor. The Camp totally remains in wilderness, adjacent to the community forest which gives a feeling of being in the real nature surrounded by vegetation and birds chirping.

No accommodation is complete without a delightful dining experience. At Annapurna Royal Camp, we take care of your dining needs in a very homely environment. We offer a healthy selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner prepared by experienced chefs using locally grown food and vegetables. You can enjoy seasonal Nepali and continental cuisine made from the freshest local ingredients sourced directly from the local market. Our team of dedicated kitchen staff will do their best to make your whole experience a memorable one.

Village Tour

Staying at Annapurna Royal Camp is not just about spending night. We offer you ample opportunities to make your stay adventurous and memorable. Despite being very close to wilderness, the Camp Valley is surrounded by numerous villages along the slopes and ridge encircling the Lake. You will have insightful tours to the neighboring villages where you can have a close-up experience of local culture and lifestyle of mid hill villages. Throughout the tour, you can also savor the panoramic view of majestic Himalayan range including the Annapurnas, Machhapuchre, Lamjung Himal etc.  Your village tour ranges from a day’s hike to 3 days’ tour.
The Camp area falls under the famous “Royal Trek” on the Adventure map named after Prince Charles who trekked in the area in the 80s. As the major part of the traditional “Royal Trek” has been spoiled by road construction, Annapurna Royal Camp has been set up to let travelers observe the beauty of the old “Royal Trek” in a comfortable way and also experience the culture of the locals that has remained virgin for majority of tourists who visit Pokhara and trek along the traditional Ghorepani route.

Lake Tour

Begnas Lake is just 15 minutes’ walk down from the Camp.  You can do boating and swimming in the lake. You can also circumambulate the lake through its dense Sal forest and observe its preserved eco system. Along the trail, you will also meet small villages where you can interact with the villagers. Almost halfway from the Camp, you will meet Begnas Damsite and Begnas Bazaar. From the point, you will make round of the Lake towards its northern bank and end the tour at its northern most point from where you will boat across the Lake to your Camp. This route is just a guideline, we can customize it as per your need.
